Rebecca (Becky) Hurley serves as Ardent’s lead transaction counsel and advisor for all merger and acquisition projects and strategic development activity. Previously, Ms. Hurley served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of LHP Hospital Group, Inc. from its founding in 2008 until its merger with Ardent in 2017. Prior to the formation of LHP, she held senior executive roles at Triad Hospitals, Inc., including senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. Before joining Triad, she was an attorney in private practice in Dallas with expertise in the areas of federal income tax, mergers and acquisitions, business transactions and healthcare.

Ms. Hurley is a summa cum laude graduate of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and a summa cum laude graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Texas. Following law school, she served as law clerk to the late Honorable Warren E. Burger, Chief Justice of the United States, and the late Honorable Irving L. Goldberg, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
