Carolyn Schneider

As chief human resources officer, Carolyn Schneider leads a team responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of Ardent’s approximately 24,000 employees across seven states.

Prior to joining Ardent in 2021, Ms. Schneider served as chief human resources officer (CHRO) at Corizon Health and previously spent a decade leading human resources at Capella Healthcare. A graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Ms. Schneider received an MBA from Vanderbilt University's Owen School of Management in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), American Society for Health Care Human Resources Administration and the Middle Tennessee SHRM Executive Forum.
